Live cine-concert / Audiovisual performance
CURVA DO RIO is a live audiovisual performance that expands the universe of the documentary “What I’ve never lost” (Aquilo que eu nunca perdi, 2021/ 86’) through the voice and presence of the Brazilian artist Alzira E. Footage images and unreleased music discovered during the film’s research on the singer, composer, and instrumentalist Alzira E became the basis for a performance that reinvents memories.

Developed as part of Itaú Cultural's “Rumos” program, the performance features never-before-seen archives alongside live music with appearances by renowned artists such as Tetê Espíndola, Arrigo Barnabé, and Benjamim Taubkin, creating a poetic and political reflection on artistic resistance, memory, and identity.
They were tapes considered relics, I kept them in a box and then I found them. They have been with me for more than 20 years, but I had never listened to them, says Alzira E. Among the MD tapes, VHS, and K7s, and more recent CD-Rs, there were almost as many unreleased songs as the years Alzira has in her career: 40.
